3:05pm All set. She had a hard time with the bottom button hole. Said things, but I told her about the top one and how to hold it and she was fine.

4:41pm Just talked to doctor Ducker. He said transplant is usually two hours and the stay for a live donor is usually 3 days. Cadaver is usually 5 days.

I asked him to not hit my feet because of my ingrown toe nails.

3:03pm All set.

4:21pm Linda Wood my coordinator called and left a voice mail message (my left hand can't be used the my right was in a bp check! when I went to get the phone). She explained my donor is accepted and we are confirmed for the 24th!

I went around to all my 3rd shift friends and told them about my transplant date! yea!! Next time I can tell the second shift that I see getting off about it!

2:46 At dial. Receptionist Joan said that the financial coordinator would like a copy of our new insurance cards when we get them.

3:07pm Needles went in well!!

3:12pm Just talked with financial coordinator at my chair. She is thinking this insurance will cover my health and that the kidney fund will now pay for my costs....interesting. Not sure my insurance will cover my health.

3:12pm All set few minutes ago.

3:40pm TV is out. (Satellite)

3:09pm All set. Bottom went in fine. Top button hole Heather tried and tried till she made me sore. So she used a sharp needle.

I asked if the Doctor had the ability to find out what was going on with my donor since they were setting a date and I hadn't heard anything. He called Linda Wood when I gave him her phone number, and left a message.

Leann held. She is pleasantly surprised how quick my button holes are to hold.

4:36pm My dry weight is set to 104.7. I did good on my diet but am not on a Crit line so should be that when done. I dieted cause I had gained I thought. How I feel will determine how much I lost.

3:33pm My weight at home was high. 235 this morning. It was high here too. Should be 107 and it was 110kg.

3:41pm Gave David a challenge: For the next 30 days, don't eat after 8:30pm. He accepted. He encouraged me the first day or two. I invited Laura and she encouraged me a lot and gained from the challenge. I invited facebook friends and got a taker!
