Wednesday. Chair 3. Leann
2:57pm at Dial stressed because tried to do too much in am.
3:25pm All set a few minutes ago.
Twist test.
3:59pm When Leann returned the twist test to normal, my heart started pounding and felt heavy and I felt sick. I thought I might get better, but quickly was getting worse, and it scared me a lot. I called for Valery and Leann came running. She turned off my goal (liquid off), and turned down my pump. I think she turned it from 400 to 300. Valery came, my chair was laid back and Valery started oxygen and talking to me. She asked me to tell her what was happening, and to evaluate myself on a scale of 1-10.
Time went by and they went away, and I felt a tiny bit better, but my heart was still pumping hard. I was stressed. I was very worried at what I was feeling.
Valery checked on me and had me evaluate my number again.
My heart was still pounding so hard, and I asked Leann to have Valery come when she could. I told Valery I wanted to get off. (I was worried about my heart). She convinced me to stay for a full 2 hours because of how dialysis works, it wouldn't finish getting the (phosphorous or was it) potassium off my blood. I thought that wouldn't be too long, but it was the longest time as my heart pounded hard and I was worried about my health and watched the clock continuously.
Was scared. It took into the night till I fully recovered. My heart was anxious and pounding. My nurse Valery would rather I go to the hospital, but I know my body, know my finances and am quite familiar with the ER, it's waits and procedures. ;)
6:15pm I am off, holding done by Chris, weighed in, packed, and in the lobby. Don't feel good so resting in the lobby for a while. My nurse said she would call me tomorrow. She did, but only 10 minutes before she was to leave and I was on the phone and couldn't call her back cause she was gone. She left a message that she would see me the next day.
6:23pm still resting in lobby.
