Monday. In Chicago. Nick. Chair 3 I think.

5:31am Arrived. Greeted with I didn't know you were coming. Found out later he hadn't prepared the machine for me cause although he had been told I was coming MWF, another note said I was coming Wednesday.

6:07am Just the 3 of us patients. One nurse, Nick, and a "tech", Megan, who doesn't know how to be a tech. Signed many papers. Waiting. Other patient being helped. Nurse says he has to do social work, secretarial, and I watched him do nurse and tech work.

6:24am They didn't tell me they didn't have the correct size needle. They don't have the correct tape either. Glad I had silk tape. Had to tell them about no alcohol, use betadine.

6:26am Needles in. Not set yet. No pain.

6:27am Very slow working people. If you ask him a question, he stops everything he is doing to look at you and talk.

6:36am All set I think.
6:50am I have internet, gmail, games, tv, music...
7:32am Had to potty. So will be later.

7:49am The time on the tv was off by almost a half hour.

8:36am Heard time I will be done dialyzing. tow hours and fourteen minutes from now.

8:59am Found out wrong filter too (along with wrong needles, tape and cleaner), then I found out that he wasn't going to give me a med I needed cause he didn't see it in the chart! I told him about it, and he looked it up and found it and gave it to me. Iron. (once on Mondays).

9:25am They don't have ANY crit lines! None!

10:56am Done waiting for someone to hold.

11:18am Wanted me to come earlier tomorrow...5:15am. Ready for david to come get me. Nick held. The top site hurt constantly. Like he had it twisted or something. Never had such continual pain holding, ever.
