Wednesday. Chair 2. Nurse Othelia. Tech Kam. Smaller chairs again, provided 2 pillows, one for back and one for arm with disposable covers.

3:00pm for paperwork, for a 3:30pm put on.

3:28pm Signed another paper (for lab test). Wrong needles, wrong swab...had alcohol out and not betadine. Got betadine.

3:51pm All set. Asked for silk tape. they changed the paper tape to plastic. I had to inform them what the silk tape was. They had it. I told about putting the needles straight out, and not taping them down. This took a lot of understanding on their part and we talked and talked till they got it right finally. the nurse put like 6 pieces of big tape on my one needle. I told her a few times about butterfly and she said she was doing that.....she wasn't! Butterfly is when you rip the tape in two. Sheesh. Finally I told her and she did it.

4:00pm 20 chairs there! I am in Chair 2.

4:25pm I had a hard time understanding my tech. He is from India. All nurses, techs, EMT's, everyone in lab was foreign. The secretary outside might not have been.

4:34pm I am running on yellow this whole time. I am afraid to say anything lest they want to turn my needles. I don't trust them.

4:58pm Worried me when he came by later and did nothing about the yellow light. Later when Kam was holding, I asked about the yellow, and he said he didn't have my volume. If he didn't have my volume, then how did the other place on Monday, run me on green? Said my clearance was good, and I ran 500. Doesn't understand why I use bigger needles.

5:16pm Nurse never checked me. Different nurses. More than one nurse on floor. One talked in the beginning to me, and helped with needles, and talked in end and another did the meds.

5:26pm I asked Kam about buttonhole. He said they don't do it and would send me to another unit. They don't carry the needle. They never started it. Later when holding he asked the nurse. She said they would do it, but with a sharp needle since they don't carry the dull ones.

7:09pm Kam tried tv. Said something is wrong with it and then he went away. I am stuck on one channel and can't do games. Touch screen not working. Later, he said he reported it.

7:58pm Holding. Kam rinced machine first while I waited and then he held. The tech across the way was playing games. Kam said, Sure, cause she is done. He held well, but only put on two bandaids on each site with no gauze nor tapes.

Used 1800 filter which is my size...I asked in FW.
Said didn't have volume. Not understanding all that, but my volume is 40 plus...asked at FW.
